Monday nights have become something truly special for our members. What might seem like just a weekly get-together, in reality, is a safe, welcoming space where young adults with additional needs can connect, grow, and feel a genuine sense of belonging.
At the heart of our Monday Night Social Club is community. For many of our members aged 18 and over, opportunities to socialise independently can be limited. This group creates a space where friendships can form naturally, confidence can build over time, and everyone is accepted for who they are. We see the impact every week, not just in activities, but in the voices of our members themselves:
“They’re really good because they get me out and help me socialise. I can meet up with friends, which I don’t do very often.” – Michael

Whether it’s sharing laughs over games, trying new activities, or simply enjoying each other’s company, every session brings something meaningful. Members who were once quiet begin to join in conversations. Individuals gain confidence to try new things, travel more independently, and express themselves in ways they hadn’t before. It’s not just about having fun – it’s about developing life skills, building self-esteem, and creating lasting friendships.
