Fun Fit Club
An online fitness club that offers memberships to young adults with special needs
Young adults with special needs get the chance to socialise and keep fit together whilst having fun! Memberships includes exclusive access to the “Fun Fit Club” Facebook group where members can socialise, interact and learn about staying fit and healthy. We stay in regular contact with our members in between fitness sessions offering information advice and guidance around a range of different topics including supporting members with nutrition and diet plans. Each member receives a home exercise kit, which we hope will enthuse the members to use outside and during sessions. We aim to support people to lead a healthy active lifestyle.
Our experienced staff have the skills and knowledge to run community based projects on large scales having worked in many charity based projects across Essex. Working alongside specialist personal trainers ensures that members have the expertise from professionals who are experienced in working with people who have physical and learning disabilities, they are able to adapt exercises to meet individuals needs and abilities. Coronavirus has enabled us to see the huge benefits of reaching out to our communities online. We have received an overwhelming response from many of our members on just how beneficial they find accessing services online from their own homes.

Independence Clubs staff are on hand during sessions and behind the scenes to ensure that things run smoothly and people achieve their goals.
