Weekend Activities

Our mission is to enable people with additional needs to achieve independence and that goal extends to the children and young people we support through our 8 – 18’s clubs and activities. We strongly believe that getting out and about in the community with friends is the best way to build real life experiences for personal and social development.

Our weekend activities are available to children and young people, ages 8 – 18, with additional needs and disabilities. Building their confidence, social skills and self esteem is so important to support their transitions through adolescence and adulthood – as well as being a lot of fun! All sessions and trips are supported by our highly qualified, knowledgeable and experienced team of specialists and expert staff.

Saturday Clubs

Our Saturday Clubs vary each month, previous examples of trips and activities have included Ninja Warrior in Chelmsford followed by fun and games at the base, games at Hylands Park, swimming at Riverside, the cinema, Colchester Zoo, Diggerland and more!

Saturday Club: Once a month (usually the 1st Saturday of the month) on selected dates with pick ups in Braintree & Chelmsford
Session costs vary depending on the activity – with a short breaks passport ID

Before attending, every child will need to complete a full assessment to ensure all of their health needs are met, and any extra training can be undertaken, if required.
